The 2nd meeting of the LIA “Zeolites” was held in the Laboratory of Catalysis and Spectrochemistry (LCS), ENSICAEN, CNRS, Normandy University in March 29-30th 2018. More than 20 people from the three parties of the LIA participated in this meeting includes Professor Christian Fernandez (the Director of LCS), Dr. Svetlana Mintova, Dr. Valentin Valtchev, Prof. Jean-Pierre Gilson from LCS, Prof. Zhongmin Liu (the Director of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics), Prof. Yingxu Wei, Prof. Peng Tian, Prof. Shutao Xu, Dr. Miao Yang and Dr Dong Fan from DICP. Ms. Amel Ferdj, the International program manager Southeast Asia and China, European Research and International Cooperation Department of CNRS in Paris presented the activities of CNRS and mostly focusing on the scientific exchange between China and France. Invited participants, Prof. Zifeng Yan and Prof. Xinmei Liu from China University of Petroleum attended the meeting too. 

A half day excursion to Mont St Michel was organized for the participants ( see picture 2).

Before the 2nd LIA “Zeolite” meeting, all members attended the 1st International French Zeolite Association meeting (34th National meeting, GFZ) organized by the LCS team in Cabourg, France (26-29/03/2018). 150 participants from twenty-six countries attended the meeting. The objective of the meeting was to promote fundamental and applied research in the field of zeolites and the scientific interactions of researchers on international level. Several oral and posters presentations from the DICP and China University of Petroleum were delivered at this meeting. The contribution from LIA “Zeolites” was acknowledged in all presentations. 

The best poster award was delivered to the young researcher from the Chines delegation, Dr. Yuxiang Liu (see picture bellow).
